After eleven years of success in the Northwest, Mike moved to Iowa City, where he has continued to be a top producer in the market. My family moved to Marshalltown, IA from Potomac, IL in 6th grade. I remain very close with many of my friends from my childhood. In 1995 I moved to Iowa City for school and am happy to call the area home. My wife, Becky, and I have been married for 21 years. Our son, Maddux, was born in 2007. Nothing like being a dad! He shares my passion for sports, we can talk stats for hours.

I have always had a passion for real estate starting in 1997 when my parents, Becky, and I flipped our first house in Grinnell, Iowa. Becky and I purchased our first house in Iowa City in 1998, we fixed it up and quickly upgraded. I’ve worked for Watts Group for 6 years. Helping manage over 1200 residential properties and playing an active role on the real estate team. I love working and living in this community!

Originally hailing from Hawkeye, Iowa, Allison made the move to the Iowa City area in the summer of 2013, immersing herself in the Hawkeye
spirit at the University of Iowa, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. It was during her pursuit of a scientific career that she crossed paths with her future husband, Payton. Together, they cultivated a shared passion for real estate, delving into property ownership and renovation projects within the local community that Allison and Payton, with their daughter Zoey, reside.

Fueled by this passion, Allison made the decision to transition into a full-time career in real estate, leveraging her expertise, experience, and unwavering enthusiasm to benefit each client she serves. Allison holds in high regard the trust bestowed upon her as she guides clients through the intricate processes of home buying and selling.

Cathy DeValk is a native Iowan, who grew up in Northeast Iowa before settling in the Iowa City corridor in 1996. She lives with her husband, Scot, in rural Solon, where they have lived for over 20 years, raising four children.  

In 2015, Cathy became a licensed realtor, and quickly became familiar with the delights of living in unique neighborhoods within the corridor--ranging from the active downtown Iowa City life to the allure of small acreages and the benefits of surrounding small communities. 

Cathy takes pride in advocating for her clients, both sellers and buyers, throughout the entire real estate process. She enjoys working closely with individuals, couples and families, listening to what their vision is, and trying to consistently match reality to their expectations. 

In 2021, the Iowa City Area Association of Realtors (ICAAR) honored Cathy with the Gold Star Award for which she 'exemplifies the highest level of professionalism, leadership and involvement in the association and our community.

Cathy stays active supporting the Solon public schools, St. Mary's Church, and other local groups.

Margaret Sanders has been helping folks make the moves they dream of for over 20 years. Real Estate is her full-time career and her passion! She prides herself in always putting her clients first and looking out for their best interest by keeping herself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to their needs.

Margaret believes the process of buying or selling a home should be fun and enjoyable for her clients - not stressful or confusing. She knows there are so many details and tasks that must be dealt with to get from a signed offer to closing day. Her goal is to see that her clients never have to struggle through any of that. Margaret really is ALL about helping her clients have the best experience possible.

Margaret and her contractor husband Joe just finished building a new home Themselves! Margaret knows about homes and about construction. From floor plans to finishes, she knows the features and amenities that make any house a home. And she’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves and do a little hard work when it’s needed. She’ll put that determination and grit to work for you when it comes time to help you sell your current home and/or help you find your new dream home!
